Become a TCTC Volunteer

In addition to running roleplaying games, hosting board games, and presenting on the Main Stage, volunteers help with general TCTC operations, all weekend long!

Multiple volunteer opportunities are available, including:

• Registration – welcoming attendees and helping with badge check-in
• RPG Room – ensuring that GMs and players get to where they need to go
• Board Game Library – helping keep the library tidy and managing the Play to Win games
• Used Game Marketplace – keeping the sale organized and operating the tills
• Floaters – assisting with overall operations and filling in gaps as needed
• Photography – documenting the event for posterity!
• Door Security – checking badges and answering attendee questions
• Bag Check – like a coat check, but for cardboard
• Special / Scheduled Events – coordinating table assignments in the Scheduled Games area
• Convention Setup – setting up booths and show infrastructure before the convention starts
• Convention Teardown – taking everything down once it’s all over  🙁

We communicate with our volunteers primarily through Discord and email. You can join the TCTC Discord server here, and message Olive (@webziez) to be given the Volunteer role.

If selected as a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to select your roles and shifts (pending availability).

We will supply any materials needed, unless we arrange something else with you in advance.

If selected to volunteer at TCTC, we ask that you do the following:

• For each shift, check in at your assigned shift location at least 5 minutes before your scheduled start time.
• Ensure that you and other attendees adhere to our Code of Conduct at all times.

We are always looking for volunteers who want to share their passion and excitement for tabletop games!

Every shift you work earns you volunteer hours. These hours go toward some sweet volunteer perks!
