Vancouver Convention Centre East
1055 Canada Place
Vancouver, BC V6C 0C3
(aka Canada Place)

The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Waterfront Station is right next door, allowing easy access from Skytrain, Bus, and Seabus.

Underground pay parking is available, with plenty of other pay parking within walking distance.

Unfortunately we will not be able to offer our canteen at the Vancouver Convention Centre. But being in downtown Vancouver, there are plenty of awesome restaurants within walking distance.

Here are some suggestions from the TCTC Community Discord:

  • There is a food court attached/across the street from the Vancouver Convention Centre East (as you exit, go down the escalator or cross the street and go down the stairs). It has lots of reasonably-priced options although it tends to get very busy very quickly when there’s events happening. Though it has limited hours.
  • Gastown has some nice pubs within a quick stroll.
  • Momo Sushi is one of my favourites.
  • For more adult style dining, there is Steamworks and Lion’s Pub both nearby.
  • You can also sometimes run across a wild Japa-dog food cart around.
  • A slight walk but Trees coffee company has delicious drinks and amazing cheesecakes. That being said it is a bit more expensive.
  • Railtown Cafe (across from Trees) is also very good coffee.
  • An even longer walk but my favourite coffee (and donuts) is 49th Parallel.
  • Captains Oven Pizza is close to convention centre and recommended by redditors as one of the great neapolitan style pizza in Vancouver.
  • If you wanna walk few blocks over Robson has a lots of great ramen (Danbo, Beest, Santouka) and Guu Izakaya which I hapilly recommend out of towner to try, I’d argue Ramen, Sushi and Izakaya scene in Vancouver is one of the best in North America.
