The popular TCTC Used Game Sale is back for another year! Get some new-to-you games or sell games that you no longer play.

Used Game Sale is open Friday 4:00-8:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am-6:00 pm, Sunday 10:00 am-5:00pm.
Game drop off is Friday 3:00-8:00 pm, Saturday 9:00-11:00 am, and Sunday 9:00-10:00 am.

Used Marketplace is Cash Only. Canadian Dollars only.

HOW IT WORKS

Buying

  • You must have a valid TCTC 2025 ticket to participate in the Used Game Sale.
  • Each item will have its sales price listed on the game.
  • Prices will change (at the seller’s discretion) at 1 pm and again at 3pm. This allows potential buyers to choose to wait for a price drop and pick the game up at a lower amount if it’s still around for purchase. Example: Game item has been listed for a starting price of $40, 1 pm price of $35, and 3 pm price of $30.
  • Items are sold as-is.
  • No breaking up lots into smaller purchases.
  • Bring the item you’d like to buy to the cashier. Cash only.

Selling

  • You must have a valid TCTC 2025 ticket to participate in the Used Game Sale.
  • Bring your items and registration fees to the TCTC Used Marketplace Desk on Friday from 3:00-8:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am until 11 am and Sunday from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. We will only accept items during scheduled drop-off times.
  • Government-issued Photo ID is required for item Drop Off and for Cash Out. 
  • Items must be registered:
    • Pre-register items:
      • Pre-register your games for $2 per lot per day. Pre-registration ends Monday, March 10 at noon.
      • Fill out our Google Form.
      • Print and fill out an Item Sales sheet. Use painter’s tape to attach the Item Sales sheet to your lot. If your lot has multiple items, please try to tape/use an elastic to keep the items together.
    • Day-Of items:
      • Print and fill out an Item Sales sheet. Use painter’s tape to attach the Item Sales sheet to your lot. If your lot has multiple items, please try to tape/use an elastic to keep the items together. These sheets will be available at the Marketplace desk as well.
      • Day-Of items are registered for $5 per lot per day.
      • The Used Marketplace Manager will fill out a Seller’s Summary with your items.
  • Pre-pay your items fees.
  • Once items are dropped off at the Used Marketplace, no price changes are permitted.
  • Items dropped off on Friday will be sold at the first Saturday price only. If they don’t sell Friday, they will be re-listed automatically on Saturday for no additional charge. Items not sold on Saturday may be re-listed on Sunday for an additional $2 per lot.
  • Items are left at the owner’s risk.
  • When cashing out, you must pick up all unsold lots. No partial cash outs are allowed.

Terminal City Tabletop Convention, Plaid Dog Events, its volunteers and organizing team are not responsible for your items. We try our best to keep an eye on them and will have volunteers stationed all weekend, but leave at your own risk.

FAQ

Q: What fee does TCTC charge me for selling my game?
A: TCTC charges a rate of $2 per lot per day for pre-registered items, and $5 per lot for day-of registrations. Money is collected when you drop your games off at the Marketplace. If you put an item in the market on Saturday but want to relist on Sunday, you’ll be charged the lower $2 fee.

Q: If I just want to show up to check out the Marketplace, do I still have to pay the entry fee for TCTC?
A: Yes, the TCTC used game marketplace is exclusive to TCTC attendees.

Q: If I bring games on Saturday, but am not attending Sunday, can I keep my games in the market for Sunday?
A: No. You must have a valid ticket for the day you plan to cash out. Unclaimed items will be assumed as donated to TCTC.

Q: How many items can I put up for the Marketplace?
A: At this time there is no limit. We do reserve the right to limit this at any time if we feel it necessary.

Q. What items can be sold at the Marketplace?
A: Any board game, TTRPG, or tabletop-gaming related item. Related items would include CCGs, miniatures, and terrain pieces. We have the right to reject items that we don’t feel are suitable.

Q: Can I enter multiple games as a single lot?
A: Yes! Lots are encouraged and often do better. Please make sure items are securely attached together. We recommend painters tape in most scenarios as it is least likely to damage the boxes.

Q: My game didn’t sell on Saturday, can I re-list for Sunday?
A: Yes. If you are re-listing an item for Sunday please confirm with the Used Marketplace staff on Saturday. You’ll be charged a $2 re-list fee per lot.

Q: My games didn’t sell, can I donate them to TCTC?
A: Yes! Just let the Used Marketplace volunteers know when you cash out and they can hold onto any games you’d like to donate.

Q: I bought a game, but its missing pieces!
A: Unless a game is in its original shrink, it is considered used and as such, might be missing pieces. We assume sellers will list the game appropriately on their slip and TCTC assumes no liability for missing pieces.

Q: Why do you charge a fee for each day?
The fee helps cover the cost of the Used Marketplace space.
